At Server Powered, we have three server setup types. Each is designed based on the level of detail you want put into your server's configuration.
Basic Software Setup: Price varies depending on chosen server. Reinstall / Format: $79.95
The basic setup includes building your server, installing the operating system, configuration of networking (IP Address, Gateway, DNS, etc), configuring your user password and placing it online.
This setup type is designed for people who wish to configure their servers themselves.
If you order cPanel, we will run the cPanel installer on the command line only. You will have to configure cPanel yourself through the web interface.
Expert Setup: Price varies depending on chosen server. Reinstall / Format: $149.95
The Expert Setup is designed for the less experienced. We will completely configure your server as described below:
- * Installation of the Linux Operating System of your choice
- All system package and Kernel updates
- Installation and Configuration of Linux Firewalls
- Installation and Configuration of Brute Force Detection
- Installation and Configuration of System Resource Monitoring utilities
- Installation and Configuration of Netowrk Utilites (nload, etc)
- Disable risk assessed xinetd services
- Remove risk assessed application packages
- Configuration of nameservers custom for your domain name:
(ns1.yourdomain.com, ns2.yourdomain.com)
- Installation and Configuration of Apache, MySQL, PHP (Versions of your choice)
